    New Raid: Yakuza + Critical Hit

    Hello Mobsters - The Godfather has released a new raid: Yakuza. This raid is similar to past raids, however the "Critical Hit" feature which was discussed last week has now been incorporated into the fight.

    To deal critical hit damage, you just have to fill up your damage goal meter as usual. Each time you fill your damage goal meter, you will earn a drop crate AND the boss will take a large chunk of damage. The intention of this change is to give lower level users, who may be dealing small amounts of attack damage, a way to meaningfully contribute to the overall raid.

    There are some important notes on balance:
    - boss HP increased
    - raid party size set to 8
    - critical hits do not count towards your personal damage goals
    - the minimum level required to access L1 raids has been increased to 80

    Because a lot of new damage is now being dealt via critical hits, the above changes had to be made to keep the raids challenging. This is the first raid using this new balance, so please let us know if you are finding the Yakuza to be either too weak or too difficult! We ran many test raids to try to match the old raids as closely as possible, but real world results often change things.

    What would be the point in trying to balance them to the old raids as closely as possible when you were quite clearly being told the old raids were too difficult for certain levels to complete?

    hi bob was delighted to see the changes for us lower levels, but seriously giving critical hit in one hand and taking away the number of members that can help in the raid,not sure that will help us but we will see,it's our first one with our family on this new raid,will post a reply if we manage to finish it lol not a complaint ;)

    50x attack dealt 291,115 dmg, earned 660 xp, and $41,250,000. Group took 126 dmg

    i don't see/feel a difference with criticals vs normal attacks

    I don't understand the point in reducing the number of players allowed in the raid, while upping the requirements to kill the boss, and then giving critical hits to give a boost . The complaints are that not enough players have the stamina required to kill the boss, and that some players do nothing. How does reducing the number of players to do a raid and upping the amount needed to kill the boss help that? I thought the critical hits were meant to help players. As it stands now, it gives with one hand and takes away with the other.

    just worried tho' as only eight of us from our family can now only join, will it be enough to finish off the raid, as most of us don't the the stamina nor energy available at the crucial time need, nor are we all online at same time, so remains to see how we fair out, hopefully good fingers crossed ;)

    The Level 3 Battles were hardly ever won with 10 players, I don't see how reducing this number will help.

    For my level, they still don't look attainable.
